Plumbing Registration Exam (Journeyman’s Exam)

Overview

This course is for participants who have previously attempted the Plumbing Registration Exams and are required to be examined again in one or more of the following classes of plumbing work:

Drainage
Gasfitting
Mechanical Service
Roofing (Stormwater)
Sanitary
Water Supply

The examiners, from the Victorian Building Authority, test an individual’s skills and knowledge is at the standard required to work as a certified plumber.
To help you pass your Plumbing Registration Exam, revision classes are held the week before the exams.

It is imperative to reboook ASAP or the VBA may direct you to retraining.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Students from TAFE colleges outside of RMIT must contact the VBA to
book their exam.

Plumbing apprentices who have completed the current Victorian Certificate III in Plumbing training at RMIT or another trade school and previously attempted the Plumbing Registration Exam

Outcome

At the end of the exam the VBA will notify participants of their results

Pre-requisites
