If you like the idea of studying in a workshop surrounded by tools and models this course is for you. This program introduces participants to some simple drawing techniques for planning and recording ideas for 3D projects, as well as introductory concept development applicable to 3D design. Students work to set briefs with teacher feedback and guidance to produce working drawings and models using a range of materials. The course also includes discussion on TAFE/Tertiary programs available in the 3D area and an industry overview.
This course is suitable for those interested in Product Design or Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or other 3D disciplines. It is also suitable for those interested in exploring introductory 3D design.
